Marlee + Austin | All Saint's Chapel and Merrimon-Wynne Raleigh Film Wedding

I don't even know where to start with these two! From the moment we met at their engagement session to their endless "thank-you's" as they drove off after their wedding day, Marlee and Austin have been nothing but incredibly kind to me. Their day was one to remember - full of amazing vendors at one of my favorite Raleigh venues! Marlee's classic southern style fit seamlessly into every detail of the day, from the beautiful muted color palette to the sweet embroidered letter she gifted her dad during their first look. I just can't get over the positive vibes these two spread with them everywhere they go; I'm so grateful to finally share this joyful day with you all!

Kelly + Jackson | Winston-Salem Film Wedding

I just love these two and their fun, beautiful wedding day! Kelly and Jackson went for a classic style, yet their whimsy snuck through in so many details (in the absolute best way!) I knew from the second I saw Kelly's girly lace wedding gown and bold velvet shoes that it was going to be a fun day. What I didn't expect was for Jackson to whip out a velvet, metallic damask printed jacket for the reception!

Most couples take a romantic, safe approach to their first dances. Kelly and Jackson are not most couples! They had moves for days, and the father-daughter dance was by far the most notable of the evening. What started in a slow dance broke into a perfectly choreographed, dramatic, hilarious (yet impressive) version of "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen. The surprises didn't end there; as they exited, they gave guests the option to choose their favorite North Carolina sports teams' pom-pom. It was so fun to see rivalries fought over as Jackson + Kelly kissed in a sea of colors, ending the night in style! They are just the sweetest.

Katherine | The Addison Farm Elon, NC Film Bridal Portraits

Kind, genuine, hilarious, patient Katherine! This girl is a beauty from the inside out. Katherine and Alex were married this past Saturday at The Addison Farm in Elon, NC (and I must admit I've been on the edge of my seat waiting to share these images for months!) Our day capturing bridal portraits was one I will always hold dear to my heart; it was my first session shooting fully, one hundred percent, only in film. You should have seen my face when I got the scans from Indie Film Lab back -- a small number of tears and a creative sigh of relief! Goodness, I love what I do, and the romantic, indescribably beautiful, timeless colors that film produces will forever have a grip on my heart.

But how could you not be over the moon with this light, this stunning bride, and a venue with one hundred and fifty year old oak trees? I'm so excited to finally share this session with you all!
